Sex Abuse was the primary offence type in 139 cases sentenced in the District of Puerto Rico between FY2018 and FY2025 (2% of the district's cases), with 14 in FY2025.

The median prison term was 151 months (12 yr 7 mo), shorter than the national median for sexual abuse offences (180 months) and shorter than the First Circuit median (180). Half of prison terms fell between 120 and 233 months; 100% of cases carried a prison term.
