§2B3.2 (extortion by force or threat of injury) was the primary guideline in 240 cases sentenced across 8 fiscal years (FY2018–FY2025), 0% of all cases, with 21 in FY2025. The Commission classes most of them as extortion/racketeering.

The median prison term under §2B3.2 was 41 months (3 yr 5 mo) (all cases nationally: 24 months); 96% of cases carried a prison term.
